Using Channel Marketing to Expand NuCalm’s Customer Base

NuCalm’s mission is to change the world, one person at a time by freeing people from their stress.

At the flip of a switch, NuCalm improves sleep, reduces anxiety, sharpens mental acuity and increases recovery from workouts—without drugs or side effects. However, as a startup company, two marketing challenges arose: launching a new product in a novel category and building a profitable customer base on a small budget.

Jon led the creative effort to sell NuCalm first to dentists and medical offices, then professional sports teams and next to executives and entrepreneurs to boost performance and reduce stress.

Building on the lessons learned from each creative experience, and benefiting from each target market’s success, NuCalm created momentum, buzz and a unique niche. In 2020, NuCalm is launching a consumer product that’s affordable to anyone and can be used virtually anywhere.
